45 years of creative freedom

Our agency originates from Atelier für Gestaltung Haase & Knels, which was established by Professor Fritz Haase and Sibylle Haase née Knels in 1963.

This agency brought forth many designers, copywriters and photographers and served as a nucleus for other agencies, like Brasilhaus. The excellent designers and ADC members Fritz and Sibylle Haase are known not least of all for over 120 stamps designed for Deutsche Post and innumerable art and cultural projects.

Harald Schweers started at Haase & Knels as a student and became Creative Director in 1990. Agentur für Werbung Haase & Knels + Schweers was launched in 1997 as an agency supplementing Atelier für Gestaltung Haase & Knels and extended to include marketing consulting and classic advertising competencies. Since then the Atelier and the Agency, divided into five offices in Schnoor, have worked jointly for many national and international brands and companies, such as Mercedes, Dunhill and tegut, and have received a variety of awards.

This was followed in 1999 by the establishment of the multimedia and Internet unit hopper intermedia, which forms the second focal point of the agency. To take into account the expanded range of services, which now also includes seminars and workshops, the company was renamed H & K + S - Haase & Knels + Schweers, Agentur für Kommunikation at the beginning of the year. Even after relocation to Altenwall Atelier and Agency retain their friendly relations and links and continue to work together on a project basis.
